Last Friday, your Rocks hosted the Noblesville Millers, earning a 34-14 win. The victory brings the Rocks to 4-0 on the year, and secures the Midland Rail trophy for this season.
The Shamrock Offense was led by Camden Simons. Aidan Parker added consistent play down in the trenches. One big play came on an RB screen to Micah Hauser, with Cole Grady, Jacob Netral, and Aidan Parker all getting in on the action with key blocks. A second big play came when Simons hooked up with Levi Kaster for a touchdown on a TE throwback.
The Rock D was led by Micah Hauser, while Jack Pfeiffer and Seth Martin tacked on consistent play. The big play for the D was when Hauser stepped in front of a slant in the endzone for a touchdown saving interception.
Shamrock Special Teams was led by Carson Voorhis. Lyle Beam added consistent play, and the big play in this phase goes to Reid Schepers.
Special mention should be given to Jonathan Hernandez, Blaine Riley, Clay Frederick, and Alex Wolfe. These Rocks made significant contributions in preparing the team for the Friday contest. During the week, they show us what it means to be united, providing the best possible look for their fellow teammates.
Next week, your Rocks will travel to Hamilton Southeastern to take on the Royals. Kickoff is scheduled for 7pm.
