#RockReport Varsity at Decatur Central

Last Friday, your Rocks traveled down to Decatur Central High School to take on the Hawks, earning a 36-14 victory. The win takes the Rocks to 2-0 for the season.

The Shamrock offense was led by RB Eli Patchett, who notched two TDs on the ground. TE Levi Kaster added consistent play, while the big play goes to QB Cam Simon's touchdown pass to WR Dane Wheeler. The Rock D pitched a shutout in the first half, coming up with a couple of interceptions. LB Eli Patchett again led the way on the defensive side, turning in a fantastic complete game performance. LB Trevor Lickfeldt tacked on consistency, while the big play was the response to sudden change by Lickfeldt, Patchett, and LB Jack Pfeiffer. The Special Teams were led by return-man Micah Hauser, and steadied with the consistent kicking of Sean Sullivan. Big play in this phase goes to Carson Voorhis.

Special mention should be given to Magwire Graybill, Dalen Blanding, Luke Lewis, and Eric Jimenez. These Rocks made significant contributions in preparing the team for the Friday contest. During the week, they show us what it means to be united, providing the best possible look for their fellow teammates.

The Rocks return to action next Friday when they'll open HCC play against the Zionsville Eagles. That game will be at Zionsville, with the kickoff scheduled for 7pm.
