Tonight, your Rocks will take the short stroll down the street in order to face the Millers of Noblesvile. This continues the rivalry stretch of the schedule, as the Midland Rail trophy is on the line tonight. The Millers come in with a 1-2 record (1-0 HCC), having handed Fishers a conference loss last week, 21-9. Noblesville is under new management this year, as Justin Roden has taken over the helm as head coach. The new look Millers are only averaging 11.7 ppg on 166 ypg (80 ground/86 air), however their schedule is a bit front loaded with Cathedral and Carmel to open the season. Look for a hungry team ready to up those averages.
The Millers are led by senior QB Grant Gremel's (#14) 257 passing yards. He'll spread the ball around pretty evenly, often finding RB Luke Blevins (#7) on check downs for big gains. Blevins tacks on an additional 191 yards rushing on the year. The Rock D look to limit these senior leaders, while putting up points of their own. The Midland Rail rivalry games have typically been down-to-the-wire, grind-it-out sorts of games, and with the weather looking to be wet tonight, expected more of the same.
