#Gameday Avon Homecoming

Tonight, your Rocks come home to face the Avon Orioles. The Orioles come into the game with a 5-1 record (3-1 HCC), having lost only to Brownsburg. Conference-wise, they have defeated HSE, Franklin Central, and Fishers. Fishers was their opponent last Friday, where the Orioles earned 33-0 victory.

Avon averages 33.7 ppg on 389 ypg (186 ground, 203 air). They are led by RB Sampson James (#2) who has notched 843 all-purpose yards on the year to go along with 9 rushing touchdowns. He's averaging 123 rushing yards per game, while QB Henry Hesson (#10) tacks on a healthy 181 passing yards per game. Hesson will spread the ball around to a bevvy of receivers, including Jalen Peterson (#11) and Wallace Stovall Jr (#13), who each have around 300 receiving yards this year and 5 touchdowns between them. Avon will look to establish the run game, while utilizing play action passing strikes to move the ball downfield. The Rock D will need to be tough and disciplined tonight in order to hold the experienced Oriole offense in check.
