Tonight, your Rocks will open sectional play by hosting the Fishers Tigers. The Tigers finished the regular season with a 7-2 overall record (5-2 HCC). MaxPreps has them ranked at #5 in the state, while they finished tied with Brownsburg for second in the conference. Their last game was a 42-35 win over Zionsville.
Fishers is averaging 24.7 points on 310 yards per game (171 ground). Their running attack is led by senior RB Dylan Scally (#20). He has compiled 921 yards on 166 carries with 8 rushing TDs. QB Marcus Roux has accounted for another 6 rushing TDs while completing 55% of his passes for a 88.6 QBR. He's compiled 1225 passing yards and 14 touchdowns. His targets are pretty evenly split between Jeffry Simmons (#86; 26/350/5) and Nick Leath (#45; 25/292/3).
The last time these two teams faced off, the Tigers came from behind in the fourth quarter, scoring 12 unanswered points to earn the 19-14 victory. Look for this to be another close game, as both teams have had two weeks to prepare for the contest. It could come down to a handful of key big plays for each side.
