Tonight, your Rocks will travel to Carmel High School to face the Greyhounds in the Sectional Championship. Carmel is 7-3 for the season, with losses to Trinity (KY), Ben Davis, and North Central. The Greyhounds earned a 28-14 victory last week against HSE in order to advance.
Carmel averages 22.5 points on 219 yards per game (149 ground). They are led by RB Dylan Downing (#2), who has racked up 784 yards on 123 carries and 8 touchdowns. This is a team that wants to pound the football and will be looking to establish the run game in order to grind out another victory. The Rock D will obviously need to counter this with tough, united defense, while giving the offense opportunities to punch in their own points.
