Tonight, your Rocks will travel to Fishers High School to take on the Tigers. Fishers enters this week with a 2-5 record (1-4 HCC), having most recently defeated HCC newcomer Franklin Central 17-12. Along the way, they've lost to Avon, Brownsburg, HSE, and Noblesville.
The Tigers are averaging only 13.4 ppg on 138 ypg (94 ground, 44 air). They are led by senior RB HL Lewis (#22) who has 381 yards and 3 touchdowns on the season. He gets some help from senior WR Mason McCartney (#89) on the outside who has chipped in 82 yards and 2 touchdowns. In general, though, this is a team that has struggled to produce offense, but when they do it can come from a variety of players. They've dealt with some injuries, especially at the QB position, that have perhaps really held them back, and relied on their defense to keep them in games.
The Rocks are coming off a couple of close losses to a pair of the top teams in the conference. They'll look to right the ship against the struggling Tigers tonight, but will be entering a hostile environment, facing a well-coached team. It will certainly not be a gimme, and they could use all the friendly voices in the stands that can make the trip.
