Tonight, across the state of Indiana, cleats will smack into oblong leather balls at approximately 7pm. If you listen closely, you'll be able to hear it: the official start of the high school football season. And if you're a Rocks fan, your team will be traveling to Lafayette to take on the William Henry Harrison Raiders.
First game is a fresh slate, so I don't have any Raider stats for you. They look to have a solid running game, and will most likely try to establish the run game early. The Rock D will have to be stingy with running yards, put the Raiders in third and long situations, and execute to get off of the field. The offense will need to build on last week's strong showing against Ben Davis. Look for the one, two attack of ground pressure combined with explosive passing.
