#RockReport - JV and Freshmen Results

JV (2-5)

The JV Football Team won Monday night, beating McCutcheon 24-12.

Offensively, the Rocks had touchdowns from Matt Crupi, Ryan Pepiot, and Elvin Caldwell. Also, they had great blocking on the O-Line by Ryan Pape and some great receptions from Cameron Harrison.

Defensively, the Rocks flew around and forced 8 turnovers for the second time this season! Grady Young, Gavin Cross, and Jay Simons had interceptions. Ryan Wonderlin and Matt Kinney forced fumbles. Matt Crupi, Ben Huntley, Evan Harlan, Luke Peters, and Trey Stewart all recovered fumbles on defense.

In the special teams phase, Luke Peters was outstanding with lots and lots of open field tackles! Also, Paul Waite made a FG and was consistent with Punt and PAT.

The JV Rocks will be at home again next Monday as they take on the Noblesville Miners at 6:00 P.M.

Freshmen (4-3)

The freshmen football team lost on Monday against McCutcheon 20-6. Sam Trompen passed for 199 yards. Will McCool caught a touchdown of 12 yards. Milo Beam had 81 yards receiving. Brandon Karsnick rushed for 88 yards. On Defense Noah Smith had 7 tackles and 2 were for a loss. Their next game will be on Monday October 8th against Noblesville.
